Some children just have that 'gene'.  They love horses, ask for a pony on every gift-giving occasion and their dreams always have four legs.  But with little siblings at home, how can Mom make these dreams come true? Many lesson programs require children to be a certain age or ability before taking them.  These years can seem eons to the true horse-lover and their caretakers.

I provide riding lessons at your home.  Once in a neighborhood, my time is yours.  Split my transport fee with one or more moms and breathe easy that you can avoid the inconvenience of schlepping your crew from the comfort of your home to the over-stimulating and possibly dangerous environment of a lesson stable.  While your children await their turn, enjoy tea, lemonade or hot cocoa and delicious Bramble Hollow Baked Goods under the overhang of my state-of-the-art horse trailer in the company of friends while your children play at horsey crafts within.

Work during the day?  I can coordinate with your care provider or come to your child's daycare facility.

Current schedule is Ruxton/Homewood on Thursdays, and Bethesda/Chevy Chase on Tuesdays.  

Lessons (weekdays only) are $50 for 45 minutes plus $1/mile from our location in West Friendship, MD. After the $50 minimum is satisfied, lessons can be prorated at a rate of $20/15 minutes to accommodate even the youngest equestrian enthusiast.

Whether it is the child's dream or only Mommy's, there is always some aspect of ponies that interests the young, and the young at heart.
